2. Data processed, purposes and legal bases

2.1 Site navigation

  • Data processed: Technical data necessary for operation and security (e.g. IP address, user agent, server logs), CMP technical cookies (Complianz).

  • Objective: website delivery, security, consent management.

  • Legal basis: art. 6.1.f GDPR (legitimate interest in security/service provision) + compliance with ePrivacy Rules for technical cookies.

2.2 Cookie consent management

  • Data processed: consent status for categories/services (1P Complianz cookie).

  • Objective: store and respect user preferences.

  • Legal basis: Article 6.1.c (ePrivacy obligations) and Article 6.1.f (compliance management). Complianz uses non-profiling technical cookies for this purpose. 

2.3 Statistics (Google Analytics)

  • Data processed: aggregated/pseudonymous site usage data; cookies such as _ga, _ga_ *eventually _gid (if activated).

  • Objective: traffic measurement and analysis to improve the site.

  • Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a). Execution occurs only after consent via the banner. 

2.4 Marketing/Remarketing (Meta/Facebook Pixel; Google Ads)

  • Data processed: Online identifiers, site navigation events; cookies, e.g. _fbp, fr (Goal) and _gcl_* (Google) where applicable.

  • Objective: Conversion measurement, remarketing, campaign optimization.

  • Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a). Execution only after consent. 

2.5 Contacts and requests for advice

  • Data processed: personal and contact details (name, email, telephone number), message content, and technical metadata.

  • Objective: respond to requests, send pre-contractual information.

  • Legal basis: art. 6.1.b (pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request) and 6.1.f (legitimate interest in managing requests and defending rights). 

2.6 Download materials / e-books and commercial communications (where applicable)

  • Data processed: email, name, preferences, consent log.

  • Objective: sending the requested material and, with separate consent, sending promotional communications.

  • Legal basis: art. 6.1.b (sending the requested content) and art. 6.1.a (marketing).

3. Nature of the provision

Providing technical data and functional cookies is necessary for the site to function. Accepting cookies Statistics e Marketing It is optional and subject to consent via the banner Complianz (“Manage Cookie Consent”). 

4. Processing methods and security measures

Processing is carried out using IT tools and appropriate technical and organizational measures (data minimization, access control, encryption in transit, logging). Data is processed by authorized personnel and/or by designated suppliers responsible pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Retention periods

  • Technical security logs: maximum [● 6–12 months] except for defense needs.

  • Cookie consent (Complianz): maximum 12 months (1P technical cookies). 

  • Google Analytics: pseudonymous data stored in aggregate form until 14 months (according to GA4 settings).

  • Marketing (Meta/Google): for the duration of the campaigns and in any case until consent is revoked.

  • Contact requests: for the time necessary to manage the request and up to [● 24 months] for organizational purposes/defense of rights.

6. Recipients and categories of suppliers

  • Hosting/IT & website maintenance (data controllers).

  • CMP Complianz Platform (consent management/cookie policy). 

  • Google LLC (Analytics/Ads) and Meta Platforms Inc. (Pixels), as consent-based analytics/marketing providers. 

  • Email/CRM tools for managing requests and forwarding messages, via internal software.

7. Transfers outside the EU

For Google and Meta services, data may be transferred to non-EU countries (e.g., the USA). These transfers are carried out in accordance with the instruments referred to in Articles 45–49 of the GDPR (e.g., EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable and/or Standard Contractual Clauses). In any case, the activation of these services occurs only with prior consent. 

8. Rights of the interested party

Interested parties may exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, opposition, withdrawal of consent) by writing to info@pizero.dev

Interested parties have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data (www.garanteprivacy.it).

9. Cookie Policy (summary) and preference management

The site uses a consent banner with categories: Functional, Preferences, Statistics, Marketing; non-technical cookies are blocked until consentPreferences can be changed at any time via the link “Manage Cookie Consent” in the footer. 

9.1 Technical cookies (first party – necessary)

  • Complianz (1P):

    cmlz_banner-status (store banner status, 12 months);

    cmplz_functional, cmlz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_allowed_services, cmlz_policy_id (they store choices and accepted policy, 12 months). Purpose: save/respect consent preferences. 

9.2 Statistics (with prior consent)

  • Google Analytics (3P): cookies e.g. _ga (2 years), _ga_ * (from 2 months to 2 years depending on settings), _gid (24 hours). Purpose: aggregate/pseudonymous website usage statistics. provider: Google LLC 

9.3 Marketing/Remarketing (with prior consent)

  • Meta/Facebook Pixel (3P): cookies e.g. _fbp (3 months) and fr (3 months). Purpose: conversion measurement and remarketing. provider: Meta Platforms Inc. 

  • Google Ads/AdWords (3P): cookies e.g. _gcl_au (3 months) and similar. Purpose: conversion measurement/remarketing. provider: Google LLC 

Nota: The actual installation of non-technical cookies occurs only with consent; the list may vary over time based on the services actually active and the results of the cookie scan performed by CMP Complianz. 

10. Customer Area and external sites

The “Customer Area” link (clienti.pizerodesign.it) refers to an external portal that may have a dedicated information and cookie policyThird-party domains also have their own privacy policies. Please consult them before use. 

11. Minors

The site and services are intended for a professional audience. For the provision of information society services in Italy, the consent of minors is valid from (Legislative Decree 101/2018).
